Question 2: C에서 "One way immigrants may choose to assimilate into their new place of residence"를 물었는데,

is it asking:

1) WHY would immigrants assimilate into a new place, or

2) HOW would they assimilate?

저는 2) HOW인줄 알아서 "by adopting culture traits (language, etc)" 라고 썼는데 선생님께서는 1) WHY에 대한 답변을 쓰신 것 같아요. "For job opportunities", "to distance themselves from original ethnic group", "because they find new place appealing"이라고 설명해주셨어요.
